Dress Code
Like most Glasgow Secondary Schools, Cleveden has a dress code which consists of a smart uniform for all young people from S1 to S6.
School uniform plays an essential role in promoting pride, self-confidence and a feeling of unity. It helps to strengthen the school ethos, school values and school expectations. Wearing school uniform, strengthens their sense of belonging to Cleveden and our school community. By having a clear expectation of dress code, we endeavour to improve equality and prepare our young people for life beyond school.
These factors contribute to our pupils' wellbeing, removing those additional pressures of deciding what to wear each morning and added stress of meeting the expectations of their peers, particularly with regards to fashion trends and expensive brands.
Our school uniform is very straight forward and as we've kept the colours simple, with the exception of the school tie, can be bought relatively inexpensively in most supermarkets and department stores.
